    Hi Valerie,

Here's a further suggestion in an effort to make this site live, i.e. to get people interacting.  Have a look at http://www.yuku.com.

If you are a member of one of their Forums they have things set up so interaction is facilitated.  It works like this.  If you visit a Forum and make a contribution, then the next time ANYONE make a contribution to that Forum you will receive an email with that person's contribution inside it.  (Maybe it's a reply to what you have said, in which case you may be inclined to log into the Forum and respond.)  Lots of different kinds of Forums on the internet work this way, as I am sure you know.  However, the Yuku system does something even better.  It appears that if after receiving the email you do NOT return to the Forum to respond to the latest contribution, then a few days later you will receive the same email again (advising you of the content of that latest contribution).  The only way you can stop this notification continuing to come to you is BY RETURNING TO THE THREAD.  It seems you don't have to actually make another contribution to the thread: by just returning to it the software must log your IP number and from that moment on you won't receive further notifications about that latest contribution . . . until such time as there is another contribution.  For all I know Yuku members can all configure there options so that this does not automatically occur, but I won't change things because it seems to me to be an excellent system and the Forum that I am a member of in Yuku is wonderfully interactive, with the same people who have already contributed to the thread returning to add further contributions.

So do consider that something like this may help get wearehiv going.   You seem to posting up wonderful topics, but people aren't responding and if some do then their contribution just gets "buried" and forgotten by the nature of the system.

In line with this, is another problem.  For example, you and I corresponded recently and just now when I came to the site I wanted to add this message on to the end of that correspondence.  But could I find it?  No.  You were easier to find, and it seems the easiest way of sending you a message is to write on your wall.

Unless the design of the site is improved I don't think the site is going to improve in terms of interaction.  For example, if a member does make an effort to respond to a discussion topic and three or four whole days later absolutely no-one else has responded to what has been said, then that member will lose interest.  What's the use?

Can you communicate with the designer of this site?

    Best Wishes,

    B.
